One Tab -chrome extension - added this to my laptop - gets rid of all the tabs sitting in the tabs bar
To get rid of extension added - right click on the Onetab icon and delete

Email - use settings to change image, starring etc

Glad to hear you've taken away some useful skills Lisa, hopefully you'll find your workflow more manageable. I'm keen to hear how Google Hangouts goes when you try it with your students, it could be great for a group sharing task like the one we did. Lots of opportunities there for students to evaluate what makes a good presentation too and they'll need to think about setting up their tabs ready beforehand, getting their notes ready so they know what they want to say when it's their turn to speak, could be a lot of fun!
